The Cocktail Sleekster From Hotel Chocolat

You may have tried the Sleekster from Hotel Chocolate before, but I bet you haven’t tried The Cocktail Sleekster before? It’s an amazing and very alcoholic combination of beautiful chocolates that if you’re looking for fantastic chocolates for a summer dinner party or for a sophisticated Dad for Father’s Day, then you’ve really got to consider these.

Basically you get 30 chocolates of 5 different varieties:

Chocolate Martini

This has a lot of vodka which is blended with some 40% milk chocolate. You can definitely taste the vodka and it is a bit punchy!

Cosmopolitan

This is another beautiful chocolate which mixes some more vodka with a hefty dose of orange liqueur and some canberry and lime! This is a real winner!!

Margarita
The Margarita chocolate has real kick! It’ll not you off your feet if you’re thinking it was just a normal chocolate. It has a mixture of Tequila and orange liqueur and has a squeeze of lime with a white chocolate centre.

Mojito

This is one of my favourites. It’s got white soft chocolate which is laced with white rum, Mexican lime and mint. This is the more subtle chocolate in the The Cocktail Sleekster.

Polish Kitten

My taste-buds are knackered after trying all these cocktail chocolates – this one is another strong one which combines vodka, pineapple and ginger! Wow – this is STRONG!

Overall you can’t really beat Hotel Chocolat for Father’s Day Chocolates or even chocolates for summer, and these The Cocktail Sleeksters have to be the best ones they offer!

Rating:
Taste: 85% – very punchy and all very different.
Texture: 85% – crunchy outer shells and soft, sweet centres – delicious
Price: 70% – at £17.75, they’re fairly expensive, but they are well worth the money!
Overall: 80% – simply awesome!
