Solen Jacky Wafer Chocolate Bar

Solen Jacky Wafer Chocolate Bar is another that I bought in Barbados along with the Chocolate Coated Pina Colada Caribbean Rum Truffles, Tiki Gold Hazelnut Chocolate Bar, Peter Paul Almond Joy – Coconut Milk Chocolate Bar and the Charles Hazelnut Chocolate Bar. And, just like most of those, it really doesn’t come up to scratch.

The bar actually comes from Turkey and from a company called Solen, which they’re proud to say has one fo the biggest manufacturing facilities in Europe, unfortunately, not the best chocolate in Europe.

Solen describe this chocolate bar as “milk compound chocolate coated wafer with cocoa cream” – not exactly the most appetising description ever. Perhaps I’m being unfair, but I find wafer chocolate as unsatisfying and much prefer solid chocolate.

This bar does actually remind me very much of the old 5 4 3 2 1 chocolate bar from my youth:
