I reviewed the Simon Coll dark chocolate bar earlier in the month and absolutely loved it, and now its time for the milk chocolate variety.
This bar is only 18g and has a minimum of 32% cocoa solids so its always going to be a mild chocolate bar. With the mildness comes a very buttery taste which is very rich, but not as sweet as the mass-produced rubbish that manufacturers such as Nestle puts out.
The aroma is just as rich and will entice you in. As its only 49p you shouldn’t expect a great deal, but you’ll actually get a few moments of lovely milk chocolate – certainly not enough to keep you going for a while, but enough to introduce you to the fantastic chocolatiere that is Simon Coll.
