Riska Shittori Choco

There’s no risk with these Riska Shittori Choco from the Japan Centre! I’m struggling with these. I’ve already reviewed a load of chocolate today and I’m trying not to finish these chocolate flavoured crispy corn snakes as they’re incredibly moreish!!

Ok, so I spend my day eating fine chocolate, but occasionally I feel you’ve just got to try chocolate snacks that you may enjoy regularly rather than the Amedei Porcelana 70% Dark Chocolate Bar which costs £7 for a 50g bar. This 90g bag only costs £1.64 even though they were imported from Japan – and they’re well worth the money.

I can’t really go on about the aroma and flavour, as they’re nothing special – apart from being hit with a strong woft of chocolate as you tear the bag open. Certainly not fine, but if you just wanted a chocolate snack then I’d certainly recommend them!

Rating:
Taste: 60% – nothing special, but moreish
Texture: 70% – crunchy heaven
Price: 70% – very good considering they’re imported.
Overall: 66.66%
