I just love the name of this Perky Nana which I got from the nice people at Sanza. It’s certainly not one to rival the fine chocolates that I’m reviewing on this blog, but It’ll get a score as high just for the fact that it’s amazingly interesting to eat.
I love banana flavoured sweets and chocolate. I’ve just tried some Booja Booja cognac flambed banana truffles which I’m going to write up later, which cost £4.95 which are no way as nice as this £0.65 chocolate bar from New Zealand!
The taste is just like a chewy banana sweet, which it effectively is inside, but its coated with the traditional Cadbury chocolate. The texture is fantastic as its really chewy and works your jaw out – I’ll certainly be ordering some more of these. My brother and family live over in New Zealand so I may ask them to bring a suitcase full of them when they visit next.
If you were going to try something different and you’ve never witnessed the joys of eating a Perky Nana then, if I were you, I’d buy some now!

Texture: 80% – I loved this chewy bar as an alternative to traditional chocolate bars
Price: 70% – 65p isn’t a lot, it’s probably cost around 45p if it was made in this country – but its still awesome for enjoyment factor
