Again I’m just clearing out my chocolate fridge before I get a few deliveries of awesome dark chocolates, Christmas goodies and some other random stuff. When I bought these I didn’t realise they actually came from Australia as I was in a dash for a plane at the time. It’s just that the packaging doesn’t look up to their usual standard.
I was expecting a lot as they worked out to be about £5 for the box of ten macadamia nuts covered in dark chocolate – obviously 50p each. Now you can get a whole chocolate for that price so I did expect these to be top quality. Unfortunately they were decidedly average.
Now, I know Macadamia nuts aren’t all that flavoursome so I had that in mind, but I was totally underwhelmed by them. The nuts have almost no taste and the dark chocolate was very average as well. I’d certainly recommend people to avoid them unless they are very partial to that type of nut.
I’d also recommend people avoid them if they were false teeth or have any likely to fall out as both the nut and the chocolate is very tough to bite through.
