Wow! After trying the very boring Waitrose Milk Chocolate, I wanted to try something a bit more imaginative, and thank crunchie (very apt) Matt from Hotel Chocolat sent me these Munchkins – Halloween Pumpkins to try.
Basically they small shortbread cookies which are covered in zesty orange white chocolate – heaven! Or is it hell as they’re designed to be Halloween treats for kids? And they’re utterly delicious.
Often these little chocolates for kids can be pretty tasteless, pretty much like the chocolate footballs, but these zesty chocolate gifts are packed full of flavour and a nice alternative to the traditional fair that you’ll get from the Pic’n'mix this Halloween.
The thing is, I wouldn’t waste the £4.50 its costs for these things on random children you don’t even know. I’m even struggling to suggest that you give them away at all!! In the interests of reviewing them, I ask some friends that had popped over if they liked they also thought they were fab! So go out and bag yourself a pack or two or three!
So if you’re going to treat your own kids then go and buy some. If you’re going to treat yourself, then buy some more. You won’t regret it.
