Mr Simms definitely has a big impact from the outside, but it looks like it is almost trying to be Victorian. The sweetshop that I remember from when I was young (in the 1970's) didn't look like that at all... maybe Mr Simms is trying to look too quaint and, insodoing, is missing the nostalgia. It’s such a shame when these old fashioned sweetshops don’t create that wow factor – taking you back to that childhood magic that you felt.
