Well, I was so up for “The Best” Melt in the middle chocolate puddings, but unfortunately I didn’t get them. When I microwaved them the aroma was overwhelming – it was sensational, dark and rich. My mouth was watering in sheer anticipation. However, the end result wasn’t anywhere near what the aroma suggested.
When I took out the chocolate pudding it did look fantastic. The pudding held its own and only a small part of the chocolate sauce escaped – this made it look all the more appetising.
On prising open the pudding to view the insides you’re met with a fairly thick sauce did suggest that it’d be nice and sweet. And as you place some on your spoon you’re still in the mindset that you’ll be enjoying chocolate heaven – but alas, you’ll be disappointed. The sauce had virtually no flavour and the pudding was like a walk in the rain, but not as memorable.
I’d give this one a big a big miss at pound;2.18 for the two, or pound;1.09 each. If this is the best I wonder what the normal one I got from them will be like?
