Morinaga Seika Choco Ball Peanuts

I bought these Morinaga Seika Choco Ball Peanuts from the Japan Centre for just 90p and are well worth it – well almost.

What I do love about Japanese product design is that the packaging is almost always very colourful and informative, as well is insanely functional. Here the box opens up with a little tab to allow the chocolate-covered peanuts to fall, one by one, into the palm of your hand.

I’m far from convinced about the chocolatey nature of the Morinaga Seika Choco Ball Peanuts as you can hardly taste the coating with your mouth intensely focused on the fairly sweet peanut flavour.

Rating:
Taste: 40% – far from chocolatey
Texture: 60% – nice and crunchy
Price: 60% – not bad value
Overall: 53.33%
