When you’re in the Hotel Chocolat store and you see this 100g of Rocky Road Chocolate you may consider it either too small or too expensive. You’d be wrong on both counts as the danger is that if you bought the bigger one there’ll be a serious danger of you eating it all in one sitting – and that’d just be bad for you.

I just love this bar, its the combination of chocolate chip cookies and puffed rice with their gorgeous milk chocolate which is very thick that makes this Mini Rocky Road Chocolate Slab almost the perfect romantic or Valentine’s gift for your lover or wife.

I usually create a box of part-eaten chocolate for my fiance to take into work for her friend to enjoy. But this one is going back in the fridge for me to pick at when ever I need a bit of a chocolate pick-me-up.

Texture: 85% – I just love the thickness of the chocolate mixed with the biscuit bits and rice crispy stuff
Price: 75% – at £3.75 it is pushing things. But you should realise that its well worth it for the enjoyment factor.
