Milk Chocolate Sardines

There’s not much I can write about 10 chocolate sardines after I’ve just finished reviewing the fantastic Amatller Ghana Single Origin 85% Dark Chocolate Bar, however I’ll give it ago.

I know from from The Chocolate Trading company that chocolate fish sell really well and I have no doubt that people will be buying these Chocolate Sardines in their droves from A Quarter Of. What’s more they’re not a bad price at £2.91 when you can get a tin of 5 milk chocolate fish from The Chocolate Trading Company for more that twice that at £6.95.

You wouldn’t expect there to be anything too special about a bag of chocolate fish, and you wouldn’t be disappointed if you didn’t have high hopes. The chocolate tastes of the typical Easter egg type milk chocolate. The thing is, children can’t often taste the difference between fine chocolate and ordinary chocolate so we might as well not evaluate the flavours etc, other to say they’re more than acceptable.

Also buy Milk Chocolate Sardines from:

* Chocolate Buttons – £2.40

Rating:
Taste: 30% – nothing special, does the job
Texture: 50% – can’t fault it, but by the same token, there’s nothing to get excited about
Price: 50% – at 29p each, they’re a touch pricey. But they’ll make a nice chocolate novelty
