Lotte Chocolate Pie Bites (Pai No Mi)

I just fancied something different when I delved into my chocolate fridge to find something to review and as I’m running out of space I opted to review these Lotte Chocolate Pie Bites from Japan. I bought them from the Japan Centre for just £1.99 and I must admit they’re good value and something nice to try if you’ve got kids.

They’re made out of puff pastry and have a light and mild chocolate filling. If you had a box open next to you whilst you work at your desk then I’m sure they’ll be gone in no time as they’re very moreish.

I wouldn’t say they’re for serious chocolate lovers, but a nice treat snack for every now and then.

Rating:
Taste: 55% – nice but nothing amazing, like mini chocolate sausage rolls.
Texture: 50% – a bit dry
Price: 60% – not bad value for money
Overall: 55%

If these Lotte Chocolate Pie Bites were a song, they would be: Dry Land Blues – Furry Lewis
