Hershey's Kisses With Almond

I got these Hershey’s Kisses With Almond as I thought I’d try something different and quite strangely I wish I didn’t. I’ve tried some other Hershey’s chocolate in the past and have never been impressed with them, this includes the Hershey’s Baby Ruth Chocolate Bar and Reese’s Cups.

I’m supposed to be honest and tell you exactly what I think, but doing this review I’m not so sure. Ok, my first impression when I opened up the impression was the smell of sick that’s been locked in a room over a hot summer’s afternoon – not nice (unless you like that kind of thing).

Individually, they’re fine. You can still taste the chemically Hershey’s chocolate (it’s probably fine to you). I’ve now eaten 4 so they can’t be that bad, but this is yet another chocolate I won’t be going out of my way to buy – even if I do love almonds.

I still think you should give them a go as you may like them, however. I’m sure they’ll appeal to many. If you did want to buy them then you can from Handy Candy for £2.99 a packet of about 34. Or from Cybercandy for £3.60, American Imports for £2.90 or Let’s Eat Direct for £3.25.

Rating:
Taste: 40% – still got the taste in my mouth
Texture: 50% – not the best
Price: 30% – expensive for what you get
Overall: 50% – there’s better things to spend your money on
