It can’t be right – a chocolate product from Hershey’s that I actually like. Well almost. I got these from Handy Candy for £0.99 as they looked quite cute and many people have been talking about them. I’m sort of glad I tried them.
They do look delightful when you tear open the packet then you may wonder what’s in them seeing as they’re very vivid colours. In fact they’re like little Smarties, but I’m not sure the colours are natural – I very much doubt it.
Also it appears that each packet contains around 210 calories which around 90 are from fat – so these certainly aren’t ones to have as part of a diet as you may be disappointed by the results.
Taste-wise its very strange. I almost liked them. At first they tasted OK but then you get the underlying salty taste which is followed by a very buttery flavour. I suppose that’s OK on toast, but not in a chocolate snack.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy them, but you may like them.
Rating:
Taste: 30% – mass-produced ….
Texture: 70% – actually I didn’t mind it
Price: 50% – not bad actually
Overall: 50% – not my cup of tea.
If Hershey’s Kassables was a song it would be – “Buttered Popcorn” by Berry Gordy. It tastes a bit like buttered popcorn.
