Foil Wrapped Chocolate Hearts

I’m going to start a review of foil wrapped chocolate hearts to see what sort of offers there are out there. Most people will buy them for wedding favours. We’re not doing them for our wedding favours (in a couple of months) as I see and eat chocolate every day and we’re going to find something else to do instead. But, I’m sure many that attend weddings will love to have foil wrapped chocolate hearts on their table, and I’m sure many will just take them home as a keep-sake.

What I didn’t realise before was that there are so many different colours available. I’ve plumped for red ones first time out as I thought that would be the most popular colour. But you can have silver ones, gold, pink, purple, salmon pink, black, blue, burgundy, copper, green, lilac, turquoise, yellow, orange and brown – it all depends on your colour scheme.

A Quarter Of – Red Foil Chocolate Hearts

First off these were £2.81 and you got 15 of them and they’re about an inch square. They work out to be about 19p each. If you compare that to Chocolate Trading company, you buy them in boxes of about 100 and they cost £12.95 (13p each). By looking at the relative pictures, they look like they’re the same chocolate hearts too!

They taste fine – the usual plain chocolate and nothing too imaginative. I’ll keep my eye out for some more foil wrapped chocolate hearts and see what they’re like. In the mean time you can buy from:

* A Quarter Of
* Chocolate Trading company
* Handy Candy – 5 for 99p (20p each)
