These Divine Dried Sliced Mangos Covered in 70% Dark Chocolate were stuffed to the back of the chocolate fridge and I managed to rescue them before the best before date expired.
I tried the chocolate covered Brazil nuts back in April and loved them and so it was the turn for the Mangos.
The box may be battered after being poked with an endless stream of new, more appealing chocolates that made my fridge their temporary home and so didn’t look all that appealing.
When I opened up the box there was a decent quantity of chocolate pieces staring back at me – ripe to be devoured. I tore open the packaging and dived straight in. And then the disappointment came. I just love fresh mango but these tasted a bit sharp for me, I not sure if its because I forgot to turn the fridge back on when we had the hot weather, but I’m sure they would have tasted so much better if I ate them the five months or so ago that I got them!
What I do know is that they’ll be a huge market for them, people such as my mother will love them, so I’m not going to write them off.
