I’m gutted that Ethical Superstore don’t seem to have these Divine 70% Dark Chocolate Hearts in stock anymore! They only seem to have the milk chocolate ones instead which is just no good :-(
I just love Divine chocolate and am a lucky lad as they’re sending me a whole load of Easter eggs next week courtesy of their PR team!
I may have reviewed a wide range of thir chocolate, including their Brazil Nuts in dark chocolate as well as various other chocolate bars, but it seems that these dark chocolate hearts are my favourite.
But I’m trying to work out why. Obviously they taste fantastic with their ever-so slightly bitter taste. I also think it has something to do with the “grazing factor”. This is where you’re busy doing something (like writing up a chocolate review) and you don’t notice yourself eating one after another. These things are dangerous like that.
They’re just the right size also to buy a box and then sprinkle the contents in a gift bag if you’re getting your loved one a romantic Valentine’s gift. Or you could just nibble them all yourself!
The consistency is also fantastic. They’ve got a wonderful crunch to them as you bite one in half. They also take a fair bit of work to chew up. They’re not like those poor quality wedding favour chocolate hearts that seem to melt instantly. These have some substance to them.
I would really recommend you consider them if you’re looking for something little this Valentine’s Day.
