I just love marzipan so was looking forward to this Cocoa Loco Organic Dark Chocolate Marzipan Heart a great deal. The problem with most marzipan chocolate I find is that its overly sweet – they just pile the sugar on. With this one you should be nicely surprised.

This chocolate marzipan is made by Cocoa Loco and sold by Handy Candy for just £2.99.

What I love about this Dark Chocolate Marzipan Heart is that it tastes just so natural. You can eat the whole thing (and I have) without getting a sugar headache and without having your taste-buds overpowered with sharp flavour. This is a nice mellow marzipan chocolate that you’ll want to experience again.

Some organic chocolate tastes a bit rural but this was delightful. The texture was a bit weird but that’s probably because I’m only used to the mass-produced rubbish. If you’re looking for a nice romantic chocolate gift, or even a Valentine’s gift then I would definitely recommend it.

Taste: 75% – nice and smooth. You should enjoy it a great deal
Texture: 65% – it did have a strange texture, but nothing to put you off
Price: 60% – it is £2.99 but I’m sure its worth it.
