As you open up the box you’ll find inside six of the largest, most juicy strawberries you’re ever going to find. Claire does a range of different types of chocolate covered strawberries - but this particular one was aimed at those looking to buy a unique Father’s Day gift as each strawberry is “dressed” in a dinner jacket with a white shirt and a dickie-bow. How cute! I just hope your father doesn’t have green, unkempt hair too!

Biting into the first strawberry was as close to a heavenly experience as you could realistically expect. Your lips purse over them, as if you … well I best not say that … young audiences and all that – you can just imagine sexual connotations that could be used to describe the sensual nature of this feast!

Continuing this theme – they say size matters. The bigger the better. But when it comes to flavour and food we’re always say that the larger the fruit, the less intense the flavour. Claire has disproved this myth with these strawberries. Even though they are large beyond belief, they are incredibly flavoursome. What’s more that flavour is exceptional, clean, clear and utterly satisfying – if I smoked, I’d be lighting up right now.

The internet is awash with women saying they prefer sex than chocolate. They either need to change their partner, or they know of some incredible chocolate! I’ve always doubted that concept. But maybe this box of gorgeousness makes me want to rethink? I just don’t know of anything legal that is as indulgent and satisfying as these chocolate covered strawberries.
But it goes beyond the rush you get when you eat one. Claire delivers these in the most appropriate packaging I’ve ever come across. They were delivered next day, in a huge box with temperature controlled packaging to keep them cool. What’s more, each strawberry is presented in its own paper cup but placed within holes specially cut in to expensive padding (what do you call that stuff?) The attention to detail is just phenomenal.
Even though I no-longer have a father to buy these for, If I needed to impress a lady I’m sure a box of their twelve signature strawberries would be sufficient to compensate any short-comings I may have. What I’m trying to say is, don’t pass up the opportunity to give these to a loved one (or someone you’d love to be with) purely because I’m reviewing the Father’s Day version – for they’re perfect for anyone – just anyone you want to impress or show your appreciation for.
Perhaps you think this review is hyperbole? It’s not, they’re exceptional.
