Gareth and Paul run Chocolate Trading Co. and they’re great people. I often find myself just ‘wondering’ around their online shop thinking what I’d buy if I didn’t already have loads of chocolate to review. But sometimes I see something that I can’t resist. As I knew they were on holiday I thought I’d buy this little creature:
Does it look cute? Well, I’ll cut to the chase, it tastes great too! But thankfully you don’t have to chop up a load of veg and get a big pot on.
What I love about this Easter bunny is that although its milk chocolate and aimed at children, it still has 37% cocoa which is almost twice as much as the Cadbury’s Roses Easter egg. It does taste sweet, however. Perhaps just a bit too much for me …
… but I just managed to devour its head.
At 18cm tall and made out of quality milk chocolate and Bourbon vanilla pod with 100% natural cocoa butter so there’s no soya lecithin or hydrogenated fat. There’s also cane sugar rather than the super-processed stuff. But there is some artificial stuff in the decoration colours.
I know I should really like it. But I’m afraid I do. I know it’s very sweet, but who cares? It’s Easter and it’s allowed. (Just reaching for my joggers …)
