Cadbury’s Mini Eggs

I slight confession here. Despite being a bit of a fine dark chocolate lover, I must admit I totally adore Cadbury Mini Eggs. Now if I worked for a company I’d certainly be looking at getting every one a corporate Easter treat in the form of a huge order of the Cadbury’s Mini Eggs from Chocolate Buttons as you can get a box of 24 100g bags for just £29.95 (which works out at just £1.25 each). They do sell them separately for £2.75 each but that’s a bit much.

I can’t exactly put my finger on why I, and many of you absolutely love these things. It may be that they’re both sweet and also have a slightly salty taste which brings out the flavours? It may also have something to do with the crunchy shell and delightful chocolate inside? It could also be due to that they’re so easy to eat whilst distracted by Eastenders or a good film?

To me there’s only one way to eat Cadbury’s Mini Eggs, and that’s with a cup of tea. For some reason they just go so well together! I’m not going to do a huge review as we all know what they taste like. Some may think they’re not realy chocolate. Compared to the Askinosie San Jose Del Tambo Dark Chocolate Nibble Bar, they’re not. But there’s a time and a place for everything, and at Easter you have to have these and the Creme Eggs at least once.
