I’m going through the rest of my chocolate collection this Bank Holiday weekend and have come to the Cadbury Dream. This is a white chocolate bar that I wouldn’t normally pick off the supermarket shelf, but have managed to get into my chocolate collection somehow.
The thing with white chocolate is that I often find it extremely sweet and sickly. Thankfully I actually found this one quite nice and would imagine that it’d taste quite nice with a nice cup of coffee on a cold, wet Sunday afternoon.
What I found asstonishing was that the Cadbury Dream 45g bar has a staggering 250 calories and is 33.3% fat and 20.6% saturated fat. If you’re a diet I wouldn’t include the Cadbury Dream into your daily intake!
I’m sure there’s many that just love the sweet taste and creamy texture of white chocolate, but its just not for me. I’m sure there will be the odd one or two that’d pay £28.50 that Chocolate Buttons charge for a box of 48 (59.38p each), but even at that price I’d give them a miss.
In rating them 55% I’m taking into account the price and that they’ll be many of you that’d adore them. But I’m sure there much better chocolate to spend your money on, even in a corner shop in a hurry.
