I bought this Bovetti Banana Milk Chocolate Bar from The Chocolate Connoisseur for £3.24 and I’m absolutely loving it.
I’m a massive fan of dried bananas anyway but it goes exceptionally well with the Bovetti 38% cocoa milk chocolate. As you bite off and let the chocolate melt in your mouth you’re met with an even stronger taste of the banana which is very welcome indeed. It is sweet, but that’s to be expected as the second biggest ingredient by weight is sugar. Even though it is so sweet it is exceptionally nice and could be suited to a late summers night. Here I’m enjoying it with a cup of tea and is the mellow taste of the tea works well to counter act the sugary taste of the chocolate – very enjoyable indeed!
The Bovetti Banana Milk Chocolate Bar is certainly a chocolate bar that you’ll find difficult to put down as its exceptionally good for a session chocolate.
Rating:
Taste: 85% – very nice indeed, but a touch too sweet
Texture: 80% – the chocolate is very smooth, and the dried banana slices the usual crispy, crunchy self
Price: 65% – a touch expensive, but worth spending to try their range.
Overall: 76.67%
