Booja Booja Champagne Truffles
2 February 2010 in Booja Booja, Champagne, Chocolate Truffles, Cholesterol Free, Dairy Free Chocolate, GMO Free, Gluten Free Chocolate, Organic, Rating 90%-94% by LeeI’ve a very large soft spot for Booja Booja Truffles with the Booja Booja Around Midnight Espresso Truffles being perhaps some of the finest I’ve ever tasted – until now.
This Booja Booja egg came courtesy of the fine people at Ethical Superstore who knew that I loved these chocolate Booja Booja truffles.
One thing that really stands out with these Booja Booja Trufle Eggs is that they look absolutely fantastic. You will really find it difficult to find a collection of truffles that look as good as these. What’s more, the egg is very robust. I’ve used one to keep the key in for the back door for a good while. I’m not sure what I’ll keep in this one, but I know it’ll get good use!
Even when you open up the shell you’re met with what looks like three nuggets of gold. In chocolate terms they’re just as precious.
Each gold-wrapped packet contains something more desirable than any precious metal. They house one of the finest truffles you’re likely to taste.
But it’s the Champagne aroma that hits you first as you unpeal them. They have a very strong Champagne nose, almost like a strong cider. When it hits you, you know you’re in for a taste sensation.
They’re as delicate and as fragile as a new born baby. The texture is so soft and light as to almost not exist. If I could eat a chocolate Rolls Royce, it would taste like this. Every single millisecond of experiencing this Booja Booja Champagne truffle is fulled to the brim with quality and sensuality. Each one is like a half-hour deep massage enveloped in soft music. You’ll feel a different person. You’ll feel a better person.
Like all good things, they must come to an end. Like a holiday romance they don’t last long enough. For your considerable outlay, I won’t mention how much just yet, you’ll have three holiday romances – but with each you won’t have the post-holiday blues, all you do is go back on to the internet and order yourself some more.
I think you can gather, I loved these, I’m sure you would too.
